Electric meter measurement verification intelligent technology innovation and application passed evaluation

[China Instrument Network Instrument R&D] On December 21st, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions evaluation team visited the Yuhang Base of the State Grid Zhejiang Provincial Electric Power Company's Metrology Center, and the company's declared 2017 National Scientific and Technological Progress Award recommended project "Electrical Energy Metering "Verification of intelligent technology innovation and application" to conduct field visits.

The evaluation meeting conducted by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions is an on-site inspection of the “Energy Metering Intelligentization, Innovation and Application of Energy Meters” of the State Grid Zhejiang Power Project. At the evaluation meeting, State Grid Zhejiang Power reported the project status to the participating experts from the aspects of project innovation background, main technologies, intellectual property rights, evaluation, promotion and benefits, and answered questions from experts. The evaluation team also inspected the Yuhang Electric Meter Automatic Calibration Line, Intelligent Storage System, Production Dispatch Monitoring Center, and “JinJuanJuan Worker Model Innovation Studio” to learn more about the actual operation mode of the project, the application of innovative technologies, and follow-up on the project. And make recommendations for the improvement of the application materials.

Electric energy metering verification is an important task related to the national economy and the people's livelihood. It uses the Internet of Things technology to break through the bottlenecks of traditional manual verification efficiency. The demand is urgent and far-reaching. The “Electrical Meter Metrology and Verification Technology Innovation and Application” project tackled key problems such as multi-terminal stripping, automatic sealing, and intelligent transfer, and developed a series of devices. On this basis, a whole-process energy meter without manual intervention was created. Metrological verification intelligent system, the overall work efficiency increased by 35 times, and the verification reliability was 100%. The project achievements have been granted 18 invention patents, 10 utility model patents, and 8 computer software copyrights. The results have been applied at more than 40 electric water meter manufacturing enterprises in province-level power metering centers across the country, including Shenzhen Kelu and Hunan Weisheng, and have been implemented in 9 European and Asian countries such as Denmark and South Korea through patent licensing. Detected 192 million energy meters, at the same time promoted the standardization of electricity measurement, promoted the intelligent manufacture of metrological verification, drove industrial transformation and upgrading, and achieved remarkable economic and social benefits.

The All-China Federation of Trade Unions (AFF) evaluation team endorsed the project, expressing its recognition of the company's breakthrough in the efficiency bottleneck of traditional manual verification, the creation of an intelligent meter system for meter verification without manual intervention in the whole process, and the drive for industrial transformation and upgrading. The evaluation team unanimously passed the on-the-spot assessment of "intelligent technical innovation and application of meter verification."
